Rigatoni alla Vodka
Tried making this for the first time tonight. I’d really like to use pennoni pasta but that’s hard to find so I used rigatoni instead. Turned out to be a great substitute. I made the sauce with julienned bacon, onion and garlic. Then about a half cup of vodka, reduced down before adding tomato sauce and then some heavy whipping cream. Everyone loved it. The general consensus was it tastes better than it looks.
