Phil’s is somewhat of a BBQ institution here in San Diego. Always lines out the door. Tonight we visited their third restaurant opened in the county. This is the pulled pork sandwich with fries and mac salad. The lighting in the restaurant lent somewhat of a purpleish hue which I did not care for. I would have preferred a lot more mac salad than fries, but this is how it came… My wife did observe that it smelled better outside than it did inside.
