Food Observations

A blog for eaters

Chipotle Mexican Grill

Chipotle for lunch today. Had a so-called Burrito Bowl. Am I even allowed to hashtag this “mexicanfood”? LOL
This is essentially what it sounds like. A deconstructed burrito, without tortilla, you eat from a bowl with a fork. Chipotle is setup Subway style where they prepare your food assembly line style, shuffling you down as you go. Start with choice of rice, or pinto/black beans, meat choice, salsa, cheese, guac, etc. The whole affair is about $7, but getting guac adds $1.95. I found it not worth the extra fee. I could have done without it. Overall a decent meal, but not something I would desire more than about once a month. The boosting factor here was the green Tabasco which I adore
