Pete’s Taco Shop (and more)

Nestled inside Ramona Liquor is Pete’s Taco Shop. Finally tried it today for the first time! I had three Street Tacos – from front to back: carnitas, carne asada and chicken asada. This was $4 & change. It was all good and fresh tasting. The meat seemed to be cooked to order. Their salsa verde had no discernible heat or flavor, but the orange-ish one pictured was excellent. They have a varied menu that covers most Mexican favorites plus specialty sammiches & burgers; Mediterranean dishes; and BBQ “stuff”. Will be back soon to try some other things.
