Firehouse Subs

This was my first time visiting Firehouse Subs and I really enjoyed it!   I ordered the Hero sammich which is made with roast beef, smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted provolone.  It was served heated up and what the call “fully involved”.  This means it’s loaded with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, mater, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side.  Looks like a hot mess, but it was really tasty.  A generous amount of meat and the bread was on the softer side.  Sometimes I prefer that over the more crusty varieties you get at other sub shops.  Looking forward to trying some of their other creative sandwiches here!

Shown at the bottom is my boys meatball sub from the kids menu.  It looked really good and it’s always his favorite here.
