Cracker Barrel

Excellent “Old Timers Breakfast” at the Cracker Barrel in beautiful Prescott Valley, Arizona!

Prescott Brewing Company

Outstanding chicken wings at Prescott Brewing Company in downtown Prescott, Arizona!

Haunted Hamburger

Haunted Hamburger seems to be one of the more popular restaurants in Jerome, AZ. The views here are absolutely stunning, that I can tell you! I ordered the “Haunted Burger”. The presentation was quite shambolic but it was very tasty. Also enjoyed a nice, cold local Hefeweizen.

Grapes Restaurant

Grapes is such a charming restaurant in the rugged mountainside community of Jerome, AZ! I think they’re currently closed for remodeling, but I would highly recommend checking them out if you ever visit this quaint town. I had an excellent spaghetti with meat sauce and Italian sausage.

Starbucks

On a quick two day road trip to Jerome, AZ! We stopped in Yuma for a quick bite. I dearly adore these tasty ham & cheese croissant sandwich things at Starbucks.

Hacienda Casa Blanca

Outstanding tamale and enchilada combination plate at HCB in El Cajon! I notice they’re now molding their rice serving which I find odd and unnecessary.

Wendy’s

Excellent Pretzel Bacon Pub Double at Wendy’s in Ramona!

Kountry Kitchen

I “parked in rear” and enjoyed an outstanding fish & chips dinner at Kountry Kitchen recently! Three beer battered hot & crispy cod filets, served with tartar sauce, plus excellent fries and house salad for only $14.49. First time ordering the F&C here and I was impressed. Clearly NOT off the Sysco truck, that I can tell you. First time back to KK since their remodel and it was absolutely stunning inside. Highly recommend visiting if you haven’t been in a while.

Filippi’s Pizza Grotto

Excellent order of half & half spaghetti and lasagna at Filippi’s in Santee! It was accompanied by a huge, tender and flavorful meatball and one of the best dinner salads you’ll find anywhere. Filippi’s is a San Diego institution, in business since 1950. They’ve grown into a small chain of old-school red sauce Italian restaurants dotted throughout SoCal.

Mi Guadalajara

Outstanding Chimichanga at Mi Guad in Esco!
