Panya Thai Kitchen

My favorite Thai restaurant in Escondido is Panya Thai Kitchen!  Here’s an outstanding dinner order of their excellent Pad Thai.  I ordered this one with shrimp.  The shrimps were abundant and perfectly cooked.

On the Border

Usually a burrito is the perfect handheld food.  Making it “wet” though takes it to a whole new level at On the Border!  Yes, you have to eat it with a knife and fork.  This flavor and texture combination is just bomb when you blanket the whole thing in a flavorful enchilada sauce.  One of my favorite things to order at OTB.

Cheesecake Factory

One of my favorite restaurants for appetizers has to be Cheesecake Factory.  Their menu reads like a phone book and it all begins with the apps!  Here’s an outstanding fried mac & cheese, excellent crab cake bites and tasty Cuban egg roll things.

Cheesecake Factory

Outstanding lunch specials at Cheesecake Factory!  Here’s the Crusted Chicken Romano.

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers

Outstanding draft beer selection at Red Robin!!

Black Angus

I just have to say, the new Black Angus down in Escondido is outstanding!!  Not all dark and dank like back in the day.  Here’s an excellent New York strip steak topped with a caramelized shallot and blue cheese compound butter.  Onion rings and au gratin taters rounded it all out very nicely!

Black Angus

I am just loving the new Black Angus down the hill in Escondido!  Nice, new, bright, airy, etc.  Not all dark and dank like back in the day.

On the Border

One of my favorite dishes at OTB is called Ranchiladas!  Flavorful skirt steak with ranchero sauce and jack cheese, two cheese & onion enchiladas with a red child sauce.   Just outstanding!

Panya Thai Kitchen

Outstanding Pad Thai at Panya.  And so beautifully presented as well in lunch special form.  Very much like what I get at Pailin Thai.  I think these restaurants might be run by the same owner.  Very similar menu too.

Pad Thai Restaurant

Since this place is called “Pad Thai” I figured I try its namesake dish.  Not the best version I’ve had but up there in the top 3 or 4.  Came out very al dente and tight.
