Quick Wok
Tasty Kung Pao Chicken lunch special at Quick Wok in Carmel Mountain Ranch! Unfortunately their fried rice is room temperature. Every time I order it.
Pinto Thai
March 26, 2020 – Asian food makes THE best takeout, that I can tell you! Pinto Thai for the win. Outstanding Thai Fried Rice with beef. I’m so happy they’re hanging in there. You could tell they were most appreciative for the business. Check them out for some great Thai food to-go.
Pei Wei Asian Diner
Beautiful fried rice bowl at Pei Wei in 4S Ranch! Sadly, this was the last meal I enjoyed here as this location recently closed. Most fitting since the fried rice bowls were my favorite here. Maybe someday I’ll find another Pei Wei in SoCal to replace them. Unlikely though considering only two left in San Diego and both nearly an hour away from me.
Dragon Chinese Cuisine
I always love ordering my fried rice or chow mein “House Special” style! Such a tasty plethora of proteins. Beef, chicken, pork, shrimps, etc. Dragon Chinese Cuisine in Carmel Mountain Ranch is consistently excellent.
Pei Wei Asian Diner
Outstanding fried rice with beautifully wok-seared flank steak! I love many dishes at Pei Wei but this one is definitely my favorite.
Oriental House
Back in Yuma! Seems like I was just here LOL. I was determined to find some good Chinese food on this trip and I did just that. I went to Oriental House on 4th Avenue. Or as the locals call it, “The O-House”. This is a really cool restaurant with just the right amount of funky. It’s obvious this place used to be some sort of diner back in the day. I ordered the House Special Fried Rice and it was outstanding! The won ton soup I started with was some of the best I’ve had. Looking forward to coming back here.
