McDonald’s

As I mentioned the other day, it’s all about the chiles when in New Mexico! Even Mack Donald’s gets in on the action! I had seen these advertised since entering the state and just had to try one before leaving. Here we are in eastern New Mexico in a small town called Tucumcari, just before entering Texas on the 40. The McDouble with green chile was surprisingly tasty! Glad I got one, but it’s time to keep boogerin’ eastbound.

There’s not much I like about McDonald’s anymore, but a decent breakfast is not hard to find here. One of my favorites is the sausage biscuit with egg. Depending on your timing and location, you can actually get a good hot biscuit.

About once every five years I get a hankering for an Egg Mack Muffin! After eating this one, I realize why I’m content waiting another five years for the next one.

The best fast food chicken nuggets start with Mc!  At McDonald’s, gotta have the spicy mustard dipping sauce.

While lunch and dinner items at McD’s have been eluding me, they always come through for breakfast!  Here’s an outstanding sausage biscuit.  Only $1.50, but if you add egg it’s over $4!  They must be using gold plated eggs at McDonald’s.

Here’s my favorite from the McPick Two special.  I don’t think they offer this anymore, but it was the ultimate cheapskate lunch!
