El Charro Cafe
No trip to or through Yuma would be complete without visiting my favorite restaurant there, El Charro Cafe! This place has been a local institution for 75 years and holds a special place in my heart. One of my favorite things to order at any Mexican restaurant is a wet burrito. El Charro makes probably the best version I’ve put in my mouth. Their “Saddle” burrito is quite something to behold. Smothered with your choice of red or green chile, I ordered it “Christmas Style” this time with both! I felt like I had to lay down after eating only half of it.
